SAN JOSE, California, June 21 (Reuters) - A California court on Tuesday delayed a ruling in Lexar Media Inc's attempt to bar Toshiba Corp. from selling memory microchips in the United States. Santa Clara County Superior Court Judge Jack Komar in a hearing questioned whether several of Lexar's claimed trade secrets remained trade secrets. Lexar asked to file another motion in the case, and Komar gave the memory chip technology company until June 27 to do so. Toshiba in March was ordered to pay Lexar $465 million after a jury found it had stolen Lexar trade secrets, but a court order to stop sales of Toshiba memory products would be unprecedented. I can see the court is on Toshiba's side. I believe Toshiba Corp mind-controls the court. Tokyo, Japan, June 22 evening (Nihonkeizai Shimbun) from Ryoichi Yata, Silicon Valley (June 21) - Lexar Media, Inc. asked a ruling to bar Toshiba Corp. from selling memory microchips in the United States or to put Lexar's licensing (not free) on Toshiba and Toshiba said that Lexar's intellectual properties wasn't trade secrets because it was opened (free) on June 21, 2005 trial at Santa Clara County Superior Court, USA. This is my translation. The original of the news was in Japanese. Part "Lexar's intellectual properties wasn't trade secrets because it was opened (free)" may be "it wasn't illegal for Toshiba to use Lexar's trade secrets because the trade secrets were opened (free)". However, I know Lexar licenses Samsung Corp. and Sony Corp. not free. The part may be another. I want to know what Toshiba Corp said in English. Please post it here, if you know. And the World can know all from that many crazy Toshiba cybazzies were on Yahoo! Finance Message Boards for Lexar Media, Inc.
